Is this AI?
No. A person writes it. We use software for ordinary admin, but what you receive is read and written by a human being. If a machine made it there would be no point to any of this — you are paying for someone to actually read what you send and decide what matters.
How do I talk to a person?
Write to ishlingmagic@gmail.com and Ishvarya will read it. There is no bot and no ticket number.
When do I pay?
Once, before we start making. There is no subscription, nothing recurring, and no account to lose access to.
Who owns what I send you?
You do. Your material is used to make what you ordered and for nothing else — never to train anything — and the finished piece is your family's. We do not hold it behind an account, and there is nothing to renew in order to keep reading it.
About the memory story
The memory story is the first thing ishling magic makes. These answers are about it specifically.
What makes this different from other memory books?
Three things, and each one answers something people say went wrong elsewhere.
Most memory services hand your parent a year of weekly questions. We do not. A gift should not arrive as homework.
Most print the answers back in the order they were given. We write a story — it reads as a life, not a questionnaire.
And your story is yours. There is no annual fee and nothing you have to keep paying to hold on to.
Does my parent need to use an app, or remember a password?
No. If they want to be involved they can be, and we will work around however they like to talk. If they would rather be surprised, they never have to know anything about it — you can give us everything we need on your own.
What if I do not know much about their early life?
That is normal, and it is workable. You know things nobody else does — the way they say things, what they always do, what they have never explained. Send us that. The questions we send are there to draw it out, not to test you.
Can I have one written about someone who has died?
Yes. Tell us what you remember, and we will write them as you knew them.
How long does it take?
It depends on how much you send us and how many stories we are writing that week. Tell us your date when you order and we will tell you honestly whether it is possible. If it is not, we will say so rather than rush it.
