In brief

We write a personalised Story to order and deliver it as a PDF.
We need your memories and details in order to write it.
One round of revisions is included. The Story is yours to keep and share with family and friends.

1. About these terms
1.1 These terms govern your purchase of a Story from ishling magic. By placing an order, you agree to them.
1.2 Please read them together with our Return and Refund Policy, our Privacy Policy and our Shipping Policy, which form part of these terms.

2. The service
2.1 ishling magic writes a personalised story to order, about a person you choose, from material you provide. The Story is supplied as a designed digital document in PDF format.
2.2 No physical book is shipped unless a printed edition is expressly offered for sale and purchased.
2.3 The Story is a personal keepsake. It is not a factual biography, a legal record, or a substitute for professional advice.

3. Orders and what we need from you
3.1 To write your Story we need the information described on the product page: who the Story is about, your relationship to them, the memories and details you wish to include, and the tone you would like.
3.2 Following your order we will send you the full list of questions. The writing period begins once we have everything we need, not from the moment of payment.
3.3 You confirm that you have the right to share the material you send us, and that the people it concerns have not objected to its use.
3.4 Where the Story concerns a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have their consent to share the child's information with us. See our Privacy Policy.
3.5 If the material provided is not sufficient to write a Story of the standard we promise, we will tell you before we begin, and the options in our Return and Refund Policy will apply.

4. Delivery
4.1 Stories are delivered by email as a PDF, normally within the period stated on the product page. See our Shipping Policy for details.
4.2 If you have not received your Story within that period, contact us at ishlingmagic@gmail.com and we will resolve it.

5. Revisions
5.1 One round of revisions is included at no cost. Additional rounds may be chargeable, and we will tell you the price before undertaking the work.
5.2 Full details are set out in our Return and Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property
6.1 Yours. You retain ownership of the memories, photographs, documents and other material you send us.
6.2 Ours. We retain authorship of the written Story, its design and its layout.
6.3 What you may do. You may read, print, store and share the Story with family and friends, and give it as a gift. You may not resell it or exploit it commercially without our written permission.
6.4 Privacy of your Story. We will not publish or refer publicly to your Story without your written permission.

7. Acceptable use
7.1 We may decline an order, or cancel it, where the material supplied is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or intended to harass or harm another person.
7.2 Where we cancel an order for this reason, we will refund you in full.

8. Limits
8.1 We write from the information you provide. We do not independently verify it, and we are not responsible for inaccuracies in the material supplied.
8.2 To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
8.3 Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Refunds and cancellation: Cancellation and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Governing law: These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

11. Changes to these terms: We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force at the time of your order are the terms that apply to it. The date at the top shows when they were last revised.
