Refund policy
In brief
You may cancel for a full refund at any time before writing begins.
Every story includes one round of revisions at no cost.
If we get something wrong, we fix it. If it cannot be fixed, you are refunded in full.
About this policy
1.1 This policy explains when you may cancel an order, when a refund is available, and how revisions work. It applies to all orders placed with ishling magic.
What you are purchasing
2.1 ishling magic writes a personalised story to order, about a person you choose (the Story). The Story is supplied as a designed digital document in PDF format.
2.2 Each Story is written once, for one buyer, from the material that buyer provides, and cannot be resold. This policy therefore sets out precisely what is covered.
Cancellation before writing begins
3.1 You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before we begin writing the Story.
3.2 No reason is required. Email us at ishlingmagic@gmail.com with your order number.
Cancellation after writing has begun
4.1 If you cancel after writing has begun, we will refund the full amount less the value of the writing already completed.
4.2 We will tell you what proportion of the work is complete before any refund is processed, so that you can decide whether to proceed.
Revisions
5.1 Every Story includes one round of revisions at no additional cost.
5.2 A revision round means that you send us your comments in a single message and we amend the Story accordingly.
5.3 Additional rounds may be chargeable. We will always tell you the price before undertaking the work.
5.4 Revision requests should be sent within 7 days of delivery.
Refunds after delivery
6.1 Because the Story is a digital document delivered immediately and made for you alone, it is not refundable once delivered, except in the circumstances below.
6.2 You are entitled to a full refund where:
(a) the Story is materially different from what was described on the product page; or
(b) the Story contains a factual error that we introduced, where you had supplied that information correctly.
6.3 In either case, please contact us first. Where the issue can be corrected, we will correct it. Where it cannot, you will receive a full refund.
Where the material provided is insufficient
7.1 We write from the memories and details you provide.
7.2 If the material supplied is not sufficient to write a Story of the standard we promise, we will tell you before we begin writing.
7.3 You may then provide further material, accept a shorter Story, or cancel for a full refund.
How to make a request: Email ishlingmagic@gmail.com with your order number and, where relevant, the change you would like. Please send revision requests in a single message.
Processing times: Approved refunds are processed within 7 working days. Depending on your bank or card provider, the credit may take a few additional days to appear.
